About Dan Harding

My wife, Martine and I live in a regional town on Australia’s Sunshine Coast. We’re aiming to enjoy following Jesus until our last breath. We have grown a large family who enjoy the beach and family meals.

We joined, and I now lead, a church that casually meets in a park by a beautiful beach. Each week we connect, share stories and hear a short message focused on loving obedience to Jesus. These messages have formed the basis of this book.

You are welcome and encouraged to use Jesus’ teachings in your own church too.

Martine and I studied Information Systems and Education respectively. After marrying, we both felt called to post-graduate study at Malyon College, a Queensland Baptist theological college.

Before completing our post-graduate studies, we both joined the pastoral team at a church plant that was reaching young adults. Since then, we have enjoyed a variety of involvement in both small and large Baptist and ACC (Australian Christian Churches) congregations.

We’d love to share whatever we can to help you, or those you lead, follow Jesus into everything he has promised!
